Alamogordo Regional Water Supply, New Mexico’s first large scale municipal desalination project located in the Tularosa Basin at the foot of the Sacramento Mountains. The reverse osmosis plant will operate at 80% recovery producing 2.8 MGD and act as a ?peaking? facility. The concentrate is expected to be around 8,400 mg/l TDS disposed of through deep well injection.
