Asian/Singapore Developments of FO and PRO

This paper summarizes the forward osmosis work undertaken in Singapore. Challenges identified include membrane fabrication, fouling identification, fouling control and selection of appropriate draw solutions. The work highlights the cooperative efforts of Nanyang University, Singapore Public Utilities and the Singapore Government.
