This presentation describes the upgrade pathway of a small indigenous community water treatment facility that was not meeting the water quality standards. This includes process selection, side-by-side pilot testing to assess the need for pre-treatment, economic and non-economic
evaluation that assisted in identifying a sound upgrade strategy with multiple stakeholder input. The presentation would benefit small system owners and operators in recognizing treatment challenges, working with multiple stakeholders and importance of pilot testing during a small system upgrade.
This presentation is available to AMTA Members only.
