The American Membrane Technology Association undertook a three year project to preserve information related to the start of the membrane separation technology by interviewing over 100 of the Pioneers in the membrane industry. They were the individuals that invented the membranes used today, decided on the dimensions of the products and made key developments during the evolution of the technology. These 36 videos of the Chats with the Pioneers are available on the AMTA web page www.amtaorg.com where you can see and hear the people that were fundamental to the growth of the use of membranes.
The audio of the first two of the 36 Chats can be heard on a Podcast that can be found on iTunes, Google Play Music, and on the AMTA website at the following location https://www.amtaorg.com/chats-with-the-pioneers-podcasts-playlist. AMTA hopes that people with an interest in the membrane industry will take the time to listen to these people tell the story of the membrane development from the first days of concept to the trials and tribulations of installing large systems seen today in their own words. The Podcast will be available for listening anywhere, any time and will give a glimpse into what it took to produce the reliable products that are available today and are used around the world. AMTA hopes you will enjoy the Chats and plans to make more available in the future. Let us know how you like them by emailing email@example.com.
