Conference hotel rates have been arranged at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside ($239/$249+taxes) and the Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Convention Center ($252+taxes). Please book early as only a limited number of rooms are available. Rates are valid until deadline or until the block is full, whichever happens first.

The Hampton Inn is directly across the street from the convention center and includes free WiFi and free breakfast daily. The deadline to make reservations at the Hampton Inn & Suites is Tuesday, February 15, 2019. Book Now!
Hilton room block is full. Manage existing reservations at the Hilton.The Hilton is conference headquarter hotel and is approximately 2.5 block walk to the convention center.
A note of Caution: We do not phone to solicit hotel reservations. Any calls you receive offering reservations are unaffiliated with AWWA or AMTA and are known in the convention industry as ‘housing pirates’. Calls may be fraudulent and result in unexpected fees, strict restrictions, and/or ruined travel plans.

Carnival Season
Although some people say Carnival and Mardi Gras interchangeably, they are actually very different things. Carnival Season begins in January is a time to celebrate culture and family. Carnival is filled with parades, balls and other celebrations leading up to Mardi Gras, which is French for “Fat Tuesday.”
The 2019 MTC falls during Carnival season but wraps up well before the crowds arrive for Mardi Gras. Join us to experience this one-of-a-kind American experience!
