AMTA/SCMA Joint Technology Transfer Workshop
“Treating Non-Conventional Water Supplies Using Membrane Technology”
This AMTA/SCMA Technology Transfer Workshop will focus on treating nonconventional water supplies using membrane technology. Attendees will learn about membrane technologies being used to treat water for the oil/gas industry including produced water and refinery uses. There will be an overview and tour of the Missouri City Water Treatment Facility, which uses pressurized membrane technology to treat surface water. The workshop will also cover topics such as ceramic membranes, zero liquid discharge and membrane cleaning along with supporting information. The workshop will have table top exhibits by suppliers for these applications and several networking opportunities.
