Operations of Integrated Water Treatment Platform for Treatment of Produced Water from Bakersfield, CA

Water Planet Inc. (WPI) set out to design and demonstrate a solution to treat produced water from multiple oil & gas production sites to agricultural reuse water quality. WPI was selected to provide a treatment system to perform the separation of oils, solids, and other remaining elements from produced water. The platform consisting of a pilot scale ceramic membrane unit combined with a brackish water reverse osmosis system was operated to treat 10 samples provided by local (Bakersfield area) oil & gas producers.
