Optimization of Pretreatment and Reverse Osmosis Membrane Treatment for Desalination of Oil Sands Process-Affected Water (OSPW)

Study investigating the physio-chemical properties of the thin-film composite reverse osmosis membranes for the desalination of oil sands process-affected water. Objective of work presented is to determine the optimal condition of the pretreatment process of coagulation – flocculation – sedimentation for the membrane system.
