Presentation provides a very general overview of reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) water treatment processes. In doing so, the basic concept of osmosis/membrane separation is described as well as the differences in treatment capabilities between RO and NF. The history and development of each technology is chronicled as well as current applications.
