The Development of Alternative and Renewable Sources of Energy and the Role of the Osmotic Power in the Context

This talk provides an overview of Hydro-Quebec’s power generation portfolio and describes how osmotic power is expected to play a role in supplying energy in the future. HQ considers osmotic power a promising new source of renewable energy that will be at competitive costs by 2010.
