Successful Antiscalant Field Trail and Dosing Optimization at Higher Feed Sea Water pH and Temperature-Larnaca Desalination Plant

The use of antiscalant to optimize energy recovery and boron removal at Larnaca Desal Plant is presented. The plant consists of two stage RO which is operated at elevate pH to enhance boron removal. This paper decribes field trials to optimize antiscalant dosage.
