Optimization of Submerged Ultrafiltration Membranes – Kennewick WTP as Case Study

As the City of Kennewick, Washington looks to increase the capacity of the membrane water treatment plant (WTP) to its full master planned capacity of 30 MGD, they have identified the need to conduct membrane optimization study with a goal of energy/operation cost savings. This presentation shares historical operational performance of the membrane units over the last three years, optimization options identified for consideration and the results from the optimization testing conducted during the optimization period.
