The authors of this paper will introduce a new design method which eliminates the need for replacing equipment and re-machining of the high cost components. This innovative design method allows for rapid customization of the fluid pathways so that equipment efficiency is restored with minimal downtime and cost to the operator, while maximizing efficiency. In addition to having the ability to handle long-term changes in operating conditions, this same methodology can be employed for short-term or seasonal changes to maintain efficiency at the highest level possible. The design method can be applied to centrifugal equipment including the high pressure pumps as well as hydraulic turbochargers
