The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) is pleased to welcome Deena Reppen as its Incoming Executive Director. She will work closely with Harold Fravel, Outgoing Executive Director, for a brief transition period and fully step into her role after the start of the New Year.
Deena has a great deal of experience with executive and organizational management, including close to 20 years in the non-profit/public sector. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer for the Foundation for Excellence in Education, Tallahassee, having previously served as their Chief of Staff and Vice President. Ms. Reppen has previous experience as the Legislative Director for the Florida Association of Counties and she served as Chief of Staff and Deputy Executive Director for the South Florida Water Management District. She also served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Deena earned her BS (Honors) in Zoology from King’s College London and a MS in Public Administration from the University of North Florida.
We are confident that Deena will facilitate AMTA’s mission to promote, advocate and advance the understanding and application of membrane technology.
