The paper describes a project to investigate the rejection efficiencies of a membrane element for arsenite (As III) and arsenate (As V). In this study, the efficiency of arsenic removal with a reverse osmosis single element pilot plant from naturally contaminated ground water was evaluated. A series of pilot studies were conducted at Eden, Rainbow Beach, and Birch River for the Manitoba Water Services Board.
