The City of Missouri City, in conjunction with 30plus municipal utility districts within the city limits, completed a 10 MGD (first phase) regional surface water treatment plant to meet the Fort Bend County Subsidence District’s mandates for reducing groundwater use. As a part of the facility, microfiltration membranes were utilized to meet both current and anticpated future regualtory requirements. The plant was completed on schedule and under budget and serves high quality drinking water to its customers.
