It covers regulatory issues related to water and air and summarizes where water and air rules collide and the implications of these overlapping regulations related to treatment of cooling water. The study concludes that influent TDS trends must be monitored and increases in influent TDS may require advanced treatment. Other challenges related to this process are described.
