This presentation will describe what is known about the presence of iodide and bromide in seawater and brackish desalted permeate produced by reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plants. The presentation will also explore the amount of iodinated DBPs formed in desalinated seawater and brackish permeate streams produced from RO water treatment plant
