Facilitation of Advances in UF Membrane Validation through a Third Party Consensus Standard

The EPA sponsored regulations for testing the integrity of UF/MF membranes expired in 2013 and have been replaced with NSF/ANSI Standard 419. The standard provides more specific testing requirements and has the possibility of being updated annually to remain current with the industry. Standard 419 does not apply to RO/NF membranes.
