The mission of the Affordable Desalination Collaboration (ADC) is to promote seawater desalination using reverse osmosis (SWRO) as an affordable, viable source of fresh water. In order to accomplish this mission the ADC conducted a multiphase pilot taking feed water from the Pacific Ocean (Navy intake at Port Hueneme, CA). This paper contain pilot results from Phase 1 (6,000 gpd) and Phase 2 (9,000 gpd) of the study using FILMTECTM membranes.
