Since 2007, AMTA has worked in partnership with several recognized organizations in distributing almost $500,000 in Fellowships that support talented university students researching membrane innovations and applications for water treatment.
In 2018, AMTA expanded on this commitment by establishing the $10,000 Ian C. Watson Fellowship for Membrane Advancement in honor of his long and distinguished career dedicated to the beneficial application of membrane technology.
Ian is a modern pioneer of membrane processes and proudly served as AMTA’s first Executive Director. AMTA is proud to acknowledge his vital and positive influence on both novice and seasoned membrane practitioners with this namesake Fellowship.
We hope you will consider being one of the founding contributors to the Ian C. Watson Fellowship for Membrane Advancement and make a donations. Any amount will help AMTA raise $10,000 each year and distribute those funds to some of academia’s brightest young minds, supporting their cutting-edge innovations in membrane technology and encouraging them to consider leadership roles and a lifelong career in our industry. All contributors will be recognized on the with their company’s name or an individual’s name listed on the AMTA Website (contribution amounts will not be listed).
