Wastewater reuse has not been explored traditionally in the water rich north eastern US. However, as some utilities are approaching limits of their supply, reuse is becoming a more attractive option for some purposes. One of the biggest hurdles to overcome was finding customers to use the recycled water. The best option was make up water for boilers.
