The mission of the Affordable Desalination Collaboration (ADC) is to promote seawater desalination using reverse osmosis (SWRO) as an affordable, viable source of fresh water. In order to accomplish this mission the ADC conducted a multiphase pilot taking feed water from the Pacific Ocean (Navy intake at Port Hueneme, CA). This paper contains pilot results using the KMS 8040 HF 400 membrane elements from KOCHTM.
