This presentation covers lessons learned at the Gibson Canyon Water Treatment Plant located in Vacaville, CA. The plant consist of Hollow Fiber MF racks with a design capacity of 1.3 MGD. One important lesson is related to membrane cleaning cycle. It is emphasized that extended soak will reduce the frequency of cleaning and will result in lower chemical and operating costs.
