Long-term operation of several BASF / inge UF based water and wastewater treatment plants were investigated. Those plants operated on various water and wastewater sources and under fluxes ranging from 50 to 110 L/h.m2 with limited chemical cleans. Results presented demonstrate the capacity of the Multibore UF systems to operate under stable permeability and low trans-membrane pressure while delivering treated water with a turbidity consistently below 0.1 NTU, even during source-water turbidity spikes.
