In a membrane plant you can be overwhelmed with data. Some of it useful, some of it not so useful. The key is to weed out the less then useful data so the operators can focus on the useful data. Once the data is filtered out operators can use it to make informed decisions on how to improve membrane and overall plant performance, and indicated potential problems before they become serious problems. This in the long run will help extend the life of the membranes.
