This abstract will discuss background information to provide context for arsenic removal from a regulatory and health perspective, as well as a brief overview of alternate treatment methods. This paper should be added to the program because extensive operating data and results from three full-scale sites across two distinctly different industrial applications (mining and power) will be compared and presented. This gives practical context that is valuable for establishing the viability of this treatment option, as well as information for effective application.
