Pennsylvania currently has more than 40 membrane filtration plants that are used at public drinking water systems throughout the state. These plants are regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and routinely evaluated for their ability to remove microbial pathogens such as Cryptosporidium. This session will outline important membrane performance indicators evlauated by DEP during Filter Plant Performance Evaluations in Pennsylvania. Specific examples of membrane best management practices and performance limiting factors seen by DEP will be presented during this session.
This presentation is available to AMTA Members only.
