Prestage Foods is building the most modern and technologically advanced pork processing plant in North Central Iowa. Construction began in the Spring of 2017 with the project opening to be in late 2018. With a facility of this size, water quantity and quality was a main concern. Requirements for the water quality could only be met through membrane filtration. This presentation will discuss the quantity and quality aspect required for this facility as well as how it was achieved through the use of membrane technology.
