Presentation provides an account of the many beneficial ways in which treated wastewater is now being used. The report describes how reuse water quality regulations are established by regulatory agencies based upon the application for use. To address, membrane processes can provide for effective treatment while minimizing the risk for public health impacts. Membrane processes including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis are all reviewed relative to their reuse applications.
