Pasquotank County in the Albemarle Sound region of coastal North Carolina decided to upgrade their water supply system by building a reverse osmosis water treatment plant near Elizabeth City. The paper will present design development data and compare to operational data from the first year of operation. Also, other areas of interest will be addressed including concentrate disposal considerations, permeate flush modifications and capital and operating costs.
