This presentation is provided based on an experimental study to investigate the applicability of the NF/RO membrane processes for remediation of groundwater contaminated by pesticides. This is the first step of a project to introduce membrane process coupled with biological sand filtration for waterworks in Denmark. Different parameters such as membrane type, water matrix, and the recovery have been evaluated for the separation of three often found pesticides in Denmark. This abstract can give participants valuable and useful insights into one of the applications of NF/RO processes for the removal of specific pesticides for drinking water production.ÿ
