Performance of Super Enhanced Permeate Flow RO Elements With 3D Spacers Printed Directly on the Membrane Surface

Aqua Membranes has developed membrane feed spacers printed directly on the membrane surface. These spacers are thinner than conventional mesh spacers and allow up to twice as much membrane surface in a standard size element. The spaces can have any shape and are more “open” in design which reduces membrane fouling and making them easier to clean.
