This session would include either a 30 minute or 60 minute presentation on the events that led up to the replacement of the Lake Forest membrane filtration equipment. Lake Forest originally installed a 14 mgd (warm water) rated Aquasource system in 2004. That system became obsolete in 2014. The City then embarked on a search for a new membrane system platform with the flexibility to select from a variety of membrane modules. This presentation should be added to the program because it 1) adds to the knowledge base of membrane equipment, 2) describes why membrane filtration replacement was a viable option compared to other infrastructure alternatives, 3) and points to the transition from GEWPT over to Suez.
This presentation is available to AMTA Members only.
