This presentation discusses equipment improvements and process optimization approaches at the South Coast Water District Groundwater Recovery Facility. The presentation begins with an overview of the Groundwater Recovery Facility as originally built in 2007. Next, the facility improvements and optimization results are presented. The changes made to improve operating efficiency include replacing chemical feed pumps to increase reliability, removing sulfuric acid pretreatment, and increasing reverse osmosis process recovery.
