This presentation discusses how ultrafiltration (UF) membranes can be used to reduce trade waste costs by treating clarifier and backwash wastes. This presentation offers the following: Demonstrates how UF membranes can be used successfully in a nonconventional application with challenging feed water; Review of pilot technical data and results: learnings on how to optimize UF performance can be shared across the water industry; Present full-scale plant design, operational challenges, and current performance compared with the pilot plant.
This presentation is available to AMTA Members only.
