The standard waste water RO desalination technology based on two or three stages RO train arrangement. Standard Process include chloramine dosing to prevent bio-fouling, and antiscalant addition to prevent scaling formation in high recovery RO process. The best condition of scaling, fouling and bio-fouling formation is stability. Stability in flow stability in gauge and osmotic pressure in standard RO process, and also stability of membrane surface geometry greatly contribute to all forms of fouling and scaling. Six month operation of Pulse flow RO in Herzlia waste water
desalination pilot show stable operation condition. Pulse flow RO conducted under 90% recovery in one single RO stage.
