AMTA/SCMA Joint Technology Transfer Workshop
“Oklahoma Advanced Membrane Technology”
This AMTA/SCMA Joint Technology Transfer Workshop will focus on the growth of membrane technology usage within the State of Oklahoma and surrounding region. The workshop will include case studies from projects in Oklahoma and Texas that use membrane technology for potable water treatment and wastewater reclamation for potable reuse. Industry experts will share successful case studies from around the region including stories about surface water process optimization and use of membrane bioreactors and reverse osmosis for wastewater treatment and potable reuse. Attendees will also learn about membrane treatment basics, funding opportunities available through the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and will be provided with detailed presentations on emerging membrane technology including ceramic membranes, gas transfer membranes and membrane distillation. The workshop will a training and interactive discussion session and the final session will focus on membrane applications that will discuss other products intended to assist with membrane treatment.
